No board needed — chess sets are built into the outdoor tables. Bring your own set or clock if you have one. No pool pass required; just show up! Bring a swimsuit if you want to jump in the pool between games!
Who We Are
RSM Chess is a free, collegiate chess community in Rancho Santa Margarita. We are part of a growing South OC chess circuit — alongside San Clemente Chess Social on Thursdays and Aliso Viejo Chess Club on Saturdays — with inter-club tournaments on the horizon.
The most important thing is connecting with other college-aged players who love the game. Come for chess, stay for the people.
Casual games, post-game analysis, opening theory — we love it all. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned player, there’s a seat at the table.
